Fanny was born in 2000 or 2001. The previous owner did not remember her exact age and could not locate her veterinary records. She is black with a
white streak on her chest. She is a small Bouvier, very thin but with good food and lots of attention, she will gain the weight she needs. She was badly matted when picked up
and had to be shaved down. She is not fussy on having her paws handled so shaving her legs and feet was a problem but she made no effort to bite. She is a happy girl, bouncy, and will be quite cuddly
when she has a chance to get the attention on her own. She makes no effort to bolt out doors or gates. She is not concerned about the trains that go past the back of my yard. She was
hesitant to take treats from fingers but is very gentle when she does so. She willingly goes into a crate to eat. Fanny is good with other dogs but terrible with cats. She will have to
go to a no cat home. For further info, please contact Gail King at bouvsbunscavies@sympatico.ca . |
01/01/06 Fanny is doing great! She is 75 pounds and in perfect health. She will be going in to the vet's in February to have
all the tartar removed from her teeth as a precaution for the future. Her coat has grown in full and healthy. Fanny is not a fan of being brushed, but getting better every day. Fanny has become
lively, energetic and full of affection. You would hardly recognize her. Fanny loves to go for walks and has become a star wherever we take her. She is even beginning her own photo-board at
the veterinary's office. Fanny has become great with people, but still get's a little rumpy when other dogs are around. We will be working on this with a trainer in the new year, as for now, we
say that she is just teaching other dogs good manners. Fanny loves getting treats and lot's of hugs. She has developed her own personality and you can see the puppy in her a
lot of the time. She is a great dog; loyal, affectionate, smart, funny and even a bit of a diva at times. Her new owners could not be happier and Fanny seems pretty happy too |
